Installing at 4 inches can offer added durability and longer-lasting coverage, especially in higher-use areas. Depths less than 3 inches may allow weed barrier or soil to become visible. When in doubt, test a small section first.

- Cleanliness: Unwashed material with a light presence of fines (typically less than 5%). Fines from production, handling and transport are normal.
- Appearance: Fractured stone with bold eye-catching green tones accented with natural cream and subtle tan tones. Color may vary slightly between loads.
- History: Material has remained generally consistent in size and color over time, with natural variation typical of quarried stone.
