Note: A typical installation depth is 2–2.5 inches for this rock, which provides good coverage for most applications. Installing at 3 inches can offer added durability and longer-lasting coverage, especially in higher-use areas. Depths less than 2 inches may allow weed barrier or soil to become visible. When in doubt, test a small section first.
Product details, what you should know
- Sizing: Primarily 1/2"–3/4" material. Some pieces may exceed 3/4", and the material will include smaller particles and fines as part of the natural mix.
- Cleanliness: Unwashed material with a light presence of fines (typically less than 10%). Fines from production, handling and transport are normal.
- Appearance: Small fractured stone featuring predominantly bright white tones with occasional subtle accents of soft tan, gray, and faint blush. While this material presents as a clean white stone, natural variation in color is to be expected. Color may vary slightly between loads.
- History: Material has remained generally consistent in size and color over time. While loads are predominantly white, this stone naturally contains minor tonal variation as seen in the image — it is not a pure bright white stone. Minor variation between loads is to be expected.
- Also known as: Commonly referred to as landscape gravel or decorative rock.
½″ White Marble is one of our brightest, cleanest looking stones and a great choice when you want a crisp, polished aesthetic. Just keep in mind it's not a pure white — there will be subtle natural tones throughout, which actually adds to its character. As with all ½″ stone, we don't recommend it for driveways or RV pads as it tends to shift under vehicle weight.
