Description
3/8" Shadow Creek Gravel is an angular pea gravel that works great in a mulitude of landscape applications such as pathways, dog runs, between pavers, and more. It is also a great option for residential and commerical xeriscaping projects. It is a mix of charcoal gray, slate blue, and occasional tan tones that complement both modern and natural landscaping. It is a functional pea gravel that can also be used for decorative purposes.

Note: A typical installation depth is 1.5–2 inches for this rock, which provides good coverage for most applications. Installing at 2.5 inches can offer added durability and longer-lasting coverage, especially in higher-use areas. Depths less than 1.5 inches may allow weed barrier or soil to become visible. When in doubt, test a small section first.
Product details, what you should know
- Sizing: Primarily ⅜" material. Some pieces may exceed ⅜", and the material will include smaller particles and fines as part of the natural mix.
- Cleanliness: Unwashed material with a light presence of fines (typically less than 5%). Fines from production, handling and transport are normal.
- Appearance: Small, angular stone featuring a natural mix of dark charcoal gray, lighter gray, and tan with hints of white veining. Color may vary slightly between loads.
- History: Material has remained generally consistent in size and color over time. with minor variation between loads expected with any quarried material.

3/8" Shadow Creek Gravel is the most angular pea gravel we have meaning it compacts and interlocks very well. It's bold color also makes your landscaping stand out and give it a modern look. Its fine size makes it especially popular for dog runs, pathways, and filling in gaps between pavers or stepping stones.
