Note: A typical installation depth is 2–2.5 inches for this rock, which provides good coverage for most applications. Installing at 3 inches can offer added durability and longer-lasting coverage, especially in higher-use areas. Depths less than 2 inches may allow weed barrier or soil to become visible. When in doubt, test a small section first.
Product details, what you should know
- Sizing: Primarily 3/4"–1" material. Some pieces may exceed 1", and the material will include smaller particles and fines as part of the natural mix.
- Cleanliness: Unwashed material with a light presence of fines (typically less than 10%). Fines from production, handling and transport are normal.
- Appearance: Fractured stone featuring soft off-white and creamy tones with subtle warm tan and occasional golden accents throughout. While similar in appearance to white marble, Glacier Mist has a warmer, more natural off-white tone. Color may vary slightly between loads
- History: Material has remained generally consistent in size and color over time. The soft creamy off-white tones are typical of this stone, however loads can occasionally run heavier in golden and tan tones than usual. As always, natural variation is to be expected with any quarried material.
