Note: A typical installation depth is 2–2.5 inches for this rock, which provides good coverage for most applications. Installing at 3 inches can offer added durability and longer-lasting coverage, especially in higher-use areas. Depths less than 2 inches may allow weed barrier or soil to become visible. When in doubt, test a small section first.
Product details, what you should know
- Sizing: This is a 1" Minus material meaning it is screened for 1" and smaller and will have a mix of ⅜" to 1" material occasionally larger.
- Cleanliness: Unwashed material with a light presence of fines (typically less than 10%). Fines from production, handling and transport are normal.
- Appearance: Fractured stone featuring a mix of dark and light grays with cream and tan tones. Color may vary slightly between loads.
- History: Material has remained generally consistent in size and color over time. Expect minor variation between loads as with any quarried material.
- Also known as: Commonly referred to as landscape gravel or decorative driveway rock.
1" Olympus is an excellent choice for stability in any landscaping or as a pathway for people and/or vehicles.
