Note: A typical installation depth is 2–2.5 inches for this rock, which provides good coverage for most applications. Installing at 3 inches can offer added durability and longer-lasting coverage, especially in higher-use areas. Depths less than 2 inches may allow weed barrier or soil to become visible. When in doubt, test a small section first.

- Sizing: Primarily 1/2"–1" material. Some pieces may exceed 1", and the material will include smaller particles and fines as part of the natural mix.
- Cleanliness: Unwashed material with a light presence of fines (typically less than 10%). Fines from production, handling and transport are normal.
- Appearance: A blend of rounded and fractured stone featuring warm creamy tan and soft beige tones with occasional gray, brown, and subtle mauve accents. Color may vary slightly between loads.
- History: Material has remained generally consistent in size and color over time. The warm cream and tan tones are typical of this stone, with minor variation between loads as expected with any naturally sourced material.
