Bermudagrass is a warm season grass so it greens up 3-5 weeks slower that bluegrass in the spring. However, it thrives in the summer heat so, hot Utah summers are ideal. And Bermudagrass requires more consistent fertilization but less nitrogen overall, compared to bluegrass.
